Record Your Memories

We are starting a new project to record the memories of our members. A trial run is being conducted by the Officers and Board members.

Carol (Pritz) Sivesind, daughter of Garner Pritz, contacted the Society during October 2015. She started a new business venture.

Carol has offered to help record our memories. We will start collecting stories about our memories of Berlin. Each of the Board members and Officers have been asked to contribute a story to get the process started.

They will call Carol using her Story Keeper process or OR
call the Society to make a digital voice recording and send it to Carol OR
write their own story.

If they call Carol or make a digital recording, Carol will type the story and send a WORD copy for editing and final approval. We will collect the stories for either the MEMOS or a book. We have asked for memories of growing up, going to school, and working in Berlin. We are looking for the stories about how things have changed as a record for the younger generations.

If we think the process will work for a book project, we hope our oldest members will join the effort.
