This book builds on the research compiled by Dr. E.C. Saylor and preserved at the Society. The publication details nine generations of the Seiler/Sayler/Saylor family that settled on Saylor Hill overlooking Meyersdale, Somerset County, PA, during the late 1700s.

The book includes 1,166 pages with extensive source references and an every-name index.

Positive results following the release of the book: May 23, 2013 Positive results of the release of the Descendants of Saylor Hill include a work party organized by Don Watson at the Saylor Hill graveyard. This was my the first face-to-face meeting with cousins Don Watson and Ward Beals. Don recalled playing on Saylor Hill during his youth. We hope to make the work party an annual event.
